Making money educating People is a crime?
It is amazing to me how those in the liberal media and politicians complain about the for profit sector of higher education. It is as if making a buck off training or educating people is a crime. All schools cost money nonprofits included. What in my opinion is what should be done is to find out why so many young and old students are flocking to these for profit institutions. In what way are traditional Universities and colleges failing to meet the demands of students that cause record numbers to leave traditional academia and enroll in non-traditional schools? Having gone to a community college myself and now attending a University that would be categorized as for profit I can attest that for profits excel at the quality of delivery of online courses and programs. Wherein state schools and community colleges are sorely lacking in that department. With so many students these days, having to turn to online education it is high time that traditional schools get on the ball and give the online students the same quality and student/ teacher interaction that their campus counterparts enjoy. Or the for profit sector will continue to do it for them and take traditional schools to the cleaners (kick their ass in the education
